Welcome to St Peters Under 5's

St Peters Under 5’s is a friendly pre-school playgroup offering sessions for children between the ages of 2 ½ and 5 years old. We opened in 1985 and have recently moved into our custom designed new building near at St Peters Catholic Primary School in Gloucester.

We provide a safe, secure and stable environment where children can learn a number of activities such as arts and crafts, puzzles, sand, playdough, games and song time. We are fortunate to have a lovely outdoor area where tricycles, scooters and play cars are available whenever the weather allows.  We can provide the entire curriculum in an outside environment.

Coming to playgroups is often the first time parents leave their children in a social environment for a few hours and we are proud of our experienced staff who have the ability to make this transition as easy as possible for both parents and children.

Our playgroup is a registered charity and is managed by a voluntary committee consisting of parent and staff. Committee meetings take place each half term and all parents are welcome to attend. Meetings are opportunities to discuss new equipment, suggested outings, and fundraising. We can only function through fundraising events run throughout the year and new ideas are always welcome!
